THE INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE ON EDUCATION, RELIGION & ETHICS IN A POST-PANDEMIC WORLD (ICERE 2025)
The 2ndInternational Conference on Education, Religion and Ethics in a Post-Pandemic World (ICERE2025)is a special three-day, international and interdisciplinary, peer-reviewed event held Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, November 26-28, 2025 in Hiroshima, Japan at the Hiroshima City Garden Event Center. ICERE2025 is a hybrid event — participants may attend in-person or online.
About ICERE2025This is the second installment of a three-year investigation of the impact of the COVID-19 impact on education, religion and ethics. Last year’s event was held in Japan and was attended by researchers, academics and students from the US, UK, Thailand, Moldova, Taiwan, India, Indonesia, Hong Kong, and elsewhere.
It was a small, intimate gathering held in Hiroshima that brought together a diverse group of passionate speakers and audience from two dozen countries. As we look back, the world seems to have been comparatively more at peace at that time, than it is now. Few could imagine that just five years on, the world would be beset by a devastating pandemic followed by economic strife, and the outbreak of war in eastern Europe and the Middle East.
