Electrical engineering, as the robust "backbone," has propelled the rapid development of the world economy. As one of the core fields of modern science, it is widely used in environment, energy, aerospace, industry, transportation and other fields. With the support of emerging technologies, it is gradually becoming intelligent. At present, the demand for electricity is even greater, and the development potential is huge, and all countries have increased their research and innovation in the field of electric power. As a core enabling technology of modern power systems, power electronics technology promotes the transformation of power systems from traditional centralized AC architectures to high-penetration renewable energy access, AC-DC hybrid flexible distribution and two-way interactive modes through efficient power conversion, dynamic control and intelligent interaction. The deep integration of the two forms a new power system power electronics trend, which is reshaping the technological paradigm and operating form of the energy system.

2025 the 6th International Conference on Power Engineering (ICPE) will take place in Xi'an, China from December 05-07, 2025.Sponsored by Northwestern Polytechnical University, organized by School of Automation, School of Civil Aviation of Northwestern Polytechnical University. ICPE 2025 aims to summarize and exchange the latest research results of power engineering technology in China, especially the Greater Bay Area, promote the development and exchange of power technology worldwide, and explore new applications of power technology. It provides a communication platform for experts and scholars in the field of power engineering technology and related research to exchange the latest research results and explore academic development directions.
为了总结交流我国电力研究技术的最新研究成果,促进国内外电力技术发展与交流,开拓电力技术应用领域,将于2025年12月05-07日在 中国西安举办2025第六届电力工程国际会议 (ICPE)。 本次会议由西北工业大学主办,西北工业大学自动化学院和民航学院联合承办,电子科技大学、魁北克三河大学、哈尔滨工业大学、米兰理工大学、昆明理工大学、东北大学、曼苏拉大学、费拉拉大学、埃及荷鲁斯大学等支持。会议将以推动电力工程应用,展示电力工程新技术为导向,通过在线或面对面交流的形式,搭建交流合作平台。
ICPE is one of the most influential academic events in the field of electrical power technology. The conference focuses on cutting-edge theoretical discussions and innovative applications across all dimensions of electrical power technology, deeply integrating the latest advancements and engineering applications of power electronics technology and new energy technology. The conference is not only an international platform for discussing electrical power engineering technology, power electronics technology innovation, and new energy system integration, but also an important occasion for leading interdisciplinary integration—actively embracing and discussing the transformative impact of interdisciplinary fields such as materials science, cyber-physical systems, artificial intelligence and big data, and energy economics and policy on modern power engineering (especially power electronic equipment and new energy systems).
