About this conference

The International Multidisciplinary Conference on Culture, Humanities, Arts and Social Sciences takes on the theme of Exploring Society through Culture and the Arts for its inaugural conference in 2027.

MCCHASS 2027 is founded on the principle that culture provides a shared intellectual framework through which diverse disciplines can engage with one another. The arts, as both creative practice and critical inquiry, offer distinctive ways of interpreting human experience, complementing perspectives from the humanities, heritage studies and the social sciences. Rather than reinforcing disciplinary boundaries, the conference encourages participants to examine the intersections among these fields and to develop collaborative approaches to addressing contemporary global challenges.

MCCHASS 2027 brings together scholars, researchers, practitioners, artists and policymakers from across the humanities, arts, heritage studies and the social sciences to explore the many ways in which culture shapes, reflects and transforms human societies. By positioning culture as the common intellectual anchor and the arts as an important lens for understanding human experience, the conference creates a shared space for dialogue across disciplines that are often considered separately.

The conference is organised by AT Publishing in association with its journals in the fields of humanities, languages, social sciences, cultural studies and education. There is a “conference first” policy in place. Selected papers will be invited to further develop into full journal articles free of APCs. Conference proceedings will be published open access with an ISBN.

It is a hybrid conference where the authors can choose to attend in person or online.
