The discussions in the conference mainly cover the fields of Artificial intelligence, Computer vision, Algorithm, Image processing and Pattern recognition. Motion estimation, Image compression, Image segmentation, Data compression and Motion compensation are all areas of Artificial intelligence tackled in it. The Image compression works featured in the conference incorporate elements from JPEG and Discrete cosine transform. The concepts on Motion compensation presented in the conference can also apply to other research fields, including Video tracking, Multiview Video Coding, Block-matching algorithm and Video compression picture types. The work on Multiview Video Coding tackled in the conference brings together disciplines like Scalable Video Coding and Context-adaptive binary arithmetic coding. Most of the Computer vision studies addressed also intersect with Coding (social sciences).
