About this Scholarship
Want to study in South America for FREE? The Colombia Government Scholarship 2026 is now open to international students seeking to pursue postgraduate studies in Colombia. The Government of Colombia offers the scholarship to pursue a Master’s Degree Program at Colombian public and private Higher Education institutions. The scholarship also includes a Spanish course for up to 6 months. Funded by ICETEX, this scholarship offers a great opportunity to study at top Colombian universities while experiencing a new culture and academic environment. More details are below.
✅ Eligibility Criteria
- Foreign citizens of any nationality can apply.
- The Scholarship is open to all students who are from outside Colombia.
- Not for Colombian citizens and nationals.
- Must not have any marital or de facto relationship in Colombia.
- Not be older than 50 years
- Have a professional, undergraduate, or graduate degree in any area of knowledge.
- Applicants can apply for up to three degree programs.
- IELTS is not required.

- Further, my Score in Spanish Language Proficiency
- An academic essay arguing the importance of your studies in Colombia
- Moreover, Notarized copies of Academic Transcripts
