Applying for a fully funded place

A fully funded scholarship normally covers tuition in full plus a living stipend, and often adds one return flight, health insurance and a settling-in allowance. Partial awards cover tuition only, or a fixed contribution. The funding label on each card reflects the provider's own wording, so check the detail page before budgeting.

Deadlines cluster: most European and UK programmes close between December and March for a September start, while many Asian and Gulf universities run rolling admissions. Applying in the first few weeks of a window is worth more than a polished application sent on the final day, because some panels assess on a rolling basis and fill places early.

What a legitimate scholarship never does

It never charges an application fee to be considered for funding, never guarantees a place before assessment, and never requires payment to an agent to release an offer letter. Apply through the university's own admissions portal wherever one exists, and treat any address that is not on the institution's own domain with caution.
